Some advice actually sticks with you.
I read, heard, or seen the following tip from an artist many years ago.
An artist should finish the piece he is working on. No matter how bad it looks half way done, it always looks ten times better when finished. Too many projects abandoned at that half way point and you begin to feel inadequate.
How true is that? For me, absolute. When I a was a pro, if I didn't follow that advice, the piece would be a struggle to finish and never matched the original vision. Most of the time it was abandoned all together.
